First of all I am sorry to hear this.
I am not sure how interfiling work but did you receive a confirmation that it was accepted? And how long after the interfiling request was the 485 was denied?
The only reason that I can think of for 485 denial is the denial of the underlying 140. It's possible that they did not honor your interfiling request. do you have any proof or confirmation that they received it?
I am just throwing these ideas, wait for the denial notice to see what the reason was and discuss with your lawyer.

I started working with a company in July 2006 and applied for I-140 in Nov 2006 with an existing labor of Nov 2004. My company is in losses all the time but I am getting more than proffered wage since I joined. Recently I received Intent to deny notice as there is no evidence that company can pay my in 2005. New I-140 got approved. I send a request for Interfiling to take out old I-140 from my 485 and use the approved I-140. when I checked the status of my case yesterday - both my old I-40 and 485 got denied. I didn't receive Denial notice yet.
Please suggest my any options I have for not losing I-485 and EAD.

I got approval 2 years back. What I did is applied for EAD when my date is current in that months's bullettin. So they picked up my file and find my date is current, so they rejected my EAD application first and approved the GC. I have lost the EAD filing fee, but got a peace in mind (GC).

AOS is neither vaild non-immigrant status nor immigrant status. It is a "period of authorized stay" based on contigency of approval of 485. Though, it has work authorization, there is no law clearly says they are eligible for school or any other benefits that immigrants enjoy. Therefore, it is difficult to explain to those have limited knowledge. It is better to get a letter from immigrant lawer to explain to school or just follow what school is suggesting.

i dont know what ADIT is.
there was no mention of 'ADIT' or 'Card ordered' in my email.
I got the email that said:

Let us flood their office with phone calls asking them to stop publishing articles that dont make sense and put stuff up there that representative of both the side of the debate.
Does this brainiac know that how many businesses have shut down due to lack of unskilled low-wage workers especially in the argicultural businesses? Not that its our job to make arguments favoring illegals - we have our own problems to deal with - however this article is titled wrongly and not supported by facts.
I have never read timesofindia in last 2 years because of irritant 100 million pop ups of phonecards and airline tickets. The website just is basically not the same thing as print edition. The website looks like a tabloit coverpage.

I have been breaking my head with this for quiet a while.
But what Ulterior motive can my employer have. Is he trying to lock me up with his company for years, becuase if he doesn't give me a copy of LC or I-140 then I can't really change jobs which is not nice.
Also i heard that if "I" pay the attorney rather than my company paying, I will get to have a copy of what ever i do with my attorney. Is that right ? My current employer pays for entire GC while the new employer asks his employees to pay for it.
Also do you know which is more difficult to get approved EB3 or EB2 without raising any red flags ? I am trying to understand which one is safe to play.

The HR is not willing to give a letter in the format I requested. I heard opinions from different forums that in situations like this, a colleague's letter would be sufficient.

For the folks (Ajju) who e-filed using a new SSN for their wives - and used the Paperless option: I understand that you have to put $0 for AGI, how about the PIN - should I (correctly) enter the PIN that was used for the 2006 filing OR does that have to change as well?
I have e-filed using $0 and last year's PIN, waiting to see if that goes through. It's been rejected twice so far, since I was using non-zero AGI amount.

My 140 was filed in Nov 2006. I had to wait 2 full years before my case got approved in Nov 2008.
My lawyer did not even open a service request. She was against infopass too. Her reason was that these would work for any other case except 140.
Based on my experience, I would recommend the following:
1. Ask your lawyer to go through AILA. This is the most preferred way and should work in 99% of the cases (This is what worked for me though it took a lot of time)
2. If option 1 does not work, try to go through your local congressman.

my experience with all carriers including fedex/dhl and others have been bad. Infact no one can guarantee a timely delivery for international shipments, as there is customs check, that can delay the delivery. Customs clearance is not controlled by these carrier companies, though they can only expedite it.

I went back to my home country in 02 in an emergency situation and didn't submit my I-94 as well. No questions asked when I got back. Moreover, no issues/questions when I went back again in 05 and came back to the US. I didn't send anything to the USCIS. Not sure whether it affects naturalization or not but so far so good on my 485.

Yesterday someone told me that this could potentially affect my I-485 adversely OR whenever I travel to my home country again, they might cause problems during my re-entry. Just wanted to know what should be my action plan.
Should I correct the records with USCIS, by sending them the I-94(Along with proof that I went to my home country).
OR should I just say quiet and forget about this mistake?

I am a consultant hence i have given a friends address who own a home so that i dont need to change it often. Now i live in a different state (ofcourse temporarily) and since its USCIS i gave this address for any correspondence to USCIS. Now in future if i apply for any new forms many people have mentioned sending Drivers License but if i sent it it has a different address on it. is copy of drivers license mandatory? how does it work ?
If it is in the same state I think you are fine, I went for FP rececntly and I had a DL which had my three year old address( though i did change online on DMV website and they send me a paper card satting my new adress) as for a new card they charged some money so i never changed it.It is 3 years since i have moved to my current address.
