i didnt read all the comments, but this is my opinion right here, this white iphone 4 launch makes absolutely no sense unless apple is planning to let it run for at least another 6 to 8 months without announcing any new hardware.
i suppose the new iphone 5 will only come out a lot latter than speculated and probably the supposed better guts will be a iphone 4 s just with better insides.

As others have posted as well, it makes no sense for Apple to invest this much time and money to get the white iPhone 4 out unless the basic design is going to care over to the iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 looks like it will be iOS 5, A5 processor, probably more memory, maybe an NFC chip, all wrapped in the iPhone 4 shell, both in black and white. LTE 4G and a completely new design comes in iPhone 6.

How do we do that? They are a shadow organization bound by religious or political ideals with no true ties to any nation.
As a result there is no nation that we could go to war with or otherwise hold accountable for their actions.
What I mean is that people captured as part of the "war on terrorism" should be treat as you would treat prisoners of war and should not be tortured under any circumstances.
I tend to disagree with the saying of "ends don't justify the means".
As for your last example, medical testing is a completely different scenario. In the torture case, you are doing it to someone who is part of the terrorist/criminal activity. They are already part of a criminal act, they already broke the law and they are planning in breaking it again to kill/damage more people.
People with medical conditions haven't done anything wrong.
How do you define a criminal act?
Are the terrorists captured during firefights with US soldiers criminals or soldiers, and why?
If North Korea launched a missile against the USA tomorrow, is that a criminal act or an act of war, and why?
If Al Qaeda launched a missile against the USA tomorrow, is that a criminal act or an act of war, and why?
When the USA dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WW2, was that a criminal act or an act of war, and why?
When the Allied forces raised Dresden to the ground in WW2, was that a criminal act or an act of war, and why?

Read the product reviews before buying. Some people are complaining that some games are impossible to play on the iPhone screen. Additionally, some games just can't cross over into a touch screen environment because of joystick limitations.

Apple really wants to squeeze out all potential sales of the iPhone 4 up until the last minute because they lost big time in 3GS sales for nearly 2 months after the leaked/stolen iPhone 4 incident.
I really hope that they will still push out the iPhone 5 in June despite all the rumors that it will be postponed to September.

Sure, there are many locked into contracts, but where are all the NEW customers that were ranting that they were waiting for a VERIZON iPhone and kept slamming ATT?
Is this due to "antennagate?" I seriously doubt that.
Apparently, they were the trolling vocal minority according to this report.
Either that or Apple & ATT's marketing campaign that pitted the advantages of GSM over CDMA actually worked. Hmm.
That and I honestly haven't seen nearly as many ads from VERIZON over the iPhone than when ATT had it exclusively & originally. I think VERIZON was busy counting the eggs before they hatched.

Wow... that whole site is down. Too much traffic, or has Apple's top secret FBI assasin group struck again. One things for sure... don't "F" with those boys and their secrets.
And to the Safari-haters, show some love. Safari might be a little short on features if you're used to Fox or Omni, but at the end of the day it's still the most elegant and simple browser out there, and it does have its strengths. It's RSS reader was pretty groundbreaking, and still is one of the best, it's one of the few browsers that actually handles fonts and anti-aliasing properly, and it renders CSS layouts very cleanly and without bugs for the most part. So don't hate so much. It's only going to get better every time.

Ah you visited Portugal. Did you like it?
I really did, it was such a nice place to let the 17-40 f4.0L stretch it's legs!
I was on a Cruise and hit alot of Countries in the Med, and honestly, while we were only in portugal for a short time, it and Spain were my favorite countries, albeit I was in Spain for three times the time I was in portugal for, Portugal still beat the tits off France. Food was awesome, Climate, Scenery, People....the wine. Okay Italy might have better food. But just barely :D
